About Me
As of February 2025: I am an Information Science researcher and Research Fellow at the International Islamic University Malaysia and Gulf University, with expertise spanning open science, data governance, and digital transformation in research and education systems.
My academic work focuses on how data-driven practices, information systems, and emerging technologies reshape knowledge production, research transparency, and institutional performance. I am particularly interested in research data management, open science adoption, and the integration of artificial intelligence and analytics into scholarly and educational environments.
I hold a PhD in Library and Information Science, where my research developed an open science model for research data management within national health research institutions. Building on this foundation, I engage in applied and policy-oriented research that connects technological innovation with organisational and governance perspectives.
My experience spans research, teaching, and academic development across international contexts. I have supported university-level teaching, supervised postgraduate research, and delivered training in advanced analytical tools such as SPSS, SmartPLS, NVivo, and R. I also contribute to research design, grant development, and interdisciplinary collaborations to advance digital innovation and research excellence.
My publications appear in leading SCOPUS- and Web of Science-indexed journals, reflecting my commitment to high-impact, multidisciplinary scholarship. I continue to work with global research partners on projects that promote open, collaborative, and data-informed research ecosystems.
